Hello.

My name is Susan, and I make beautiful things out of anything I can get my hands on.

All my life, I have been a creator. I was a crafty kid, and cycled through sewing, beading, embroidery, scrapbooking, drawing, and more, though I never thought I could be a real artist. In my last year of college, I worked in the school library, first repairing damaged books and then discarding unneeded books. I learned how books worked and found potential in the cast-offs. Combining this new love with my scrapbooking hobby, I began to teach myself book-binding.

Eight years later, here we are. I’m a little bit amazed that I get to spend time redeeming my little corner of the world by making something new out of something old and finding the hidden stories behind everyday objects. Design and creative reuse are my passion, and I hope you can spot a little of the joy that went into collecting and making these things. Come join me on this journey of reuse and re-appreciation!
