I love finding new materials to use and new formats to try when making art books! This one started out with a brown VHS case I found when cleaning out a closet and work. I created an accordion book to fit inside, inspired by the contrast of graphic black-and-white designs with cheerful sunflowers and bright blue elements. Each page of the accordion is made of a different vintage paper - some book pages, calendar images, report covers, and more. The pages are embellished with stamped images, rub-on letters, and more, ready for you to add photos, quotes, or anything you like onto the pages. When fully extended, the pages stretch about three feet! When in its case, it measures about 4” by 8”.
